Issues On Tithe: “Ignore My Attackers On The Internet” – Pastor Adeboye

 

Eventually, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has reacted to social media criticisms over his declaration that non-tithers will not make heaven.
Pastor Adeboye, who spoke at the church’s Northern Regional Camp in Jos, Plateau State, reiterated his warning that tithing was a necessary condition to inherit the Kingdom of God, adding that none of the requirements should be left
out.
Pastor Adeboye drew criticism from several celebrities and on-air personalities after he warned about the dangers of ignoring tithing during the April Holy Ghost Service of the Redemption Camp
along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, stated that born-again Christians, who do not give to God one-tenth of their income, may not make heaven.
Giving a message on the theme: ‘Stronger Than My Enemy’, the ‘Daddy G.O.’ admonished the congregants to ignore those criticisms from those who have been “attacking me on the internet” but who do not know they are also attacking the church.
The man of God quoted from the scripture in Matthew 23:23 where Jesus rebuked the scribes
and pharisees for not complying with all the tenets of the Kingdom.
The minister asked the congregation,
“They say
Pastor Adeboye only talks about tithes, is it only what I preach? Don’t I talk about holiness, healing,
prosperity, salvation?”
“Don’t let anybody deceive you because if you meet
Jesus on the Last Day, you don’t say I stopped
paying tithes because somebody said it is wrong,”
he added.
While stressing the need for members to avoid mockers.

Donald Trump Moves Embassy To Jerusalem, Pastor Chris Conducts Historic Trip To Israel

 
The Man of God and spiritual leader of millions around the world, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, is conducting a historic trip to the Holy Land this May. The week-long trip coincides with many monumental events that will be occurring in Israel at the same time. For one, this year marks 70 years to the declaration of independence of the State of Israel. Additionally, May 2018 is the month that Donald Trump, the President of the United States and an avid supporter of the Evangelical community in the US, declared the move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem to occur. The Bible tour will occur from May 10th until May 18th, including a brief trip to Jordan in the middle.

The uniqueness of the Holy Land is ever so evident, as it signifies the land that Jesus Christ himself was born in, where the history is felt throughout each monument and city. Pastor Chris will be accompanied by hundreds of followers who are fortunate enough to partake on this journey with him. The Land of Israel is supernatural and is the actual place where events from the New Testament, along with the Bible occurred. Additionally, the Holy Land is accommodating to various religions and cultures. It is because of this very reason that the magnitude of this journey is ever so evident.

The connection between Evangelical Christians and Israel will be strengthened throughout this visit. Pastor Chris plans to hold several ministrations during the trip, gathering together his supporters in unison in an effort to encourage spiritual lifting.
As mentioned above, the historic trip will coincide with the declaration of the American Embassy’s move to Jerusalem. A declaration of such standing represents the strong connection that the state of Israel has to America and President Trump, who is also known to be an avid supporter of the Evangelical community in the U.S. The declaration was stated in unison with the 70th year of Israel’s independence, thus proving the immense appreciation the Trump administration has to the State of Israel. He understood the great significance the country has, to Christians and Jews alike, and recognizes the biblical connation it has. The history behind Israel is undoubtedly the most prominent one, as it tells a story that dates back thousands of years to the Old Testament, and there is still evidence of its very existence within the land today. As we grow closer to the great move, we are reminded of the power of President Trump and his dedication to the Holy Land, as he did not succumb to the incredulous pressure he faced from his international neighbors.

The sites in Israel that Pastor Chris will be visiting include the Western Wall, the Sea of Galilee, the Garden Tomb & Golgatha, along with many others as well. He will spend two days in Jordan visiting Petra and Jerash, exploring the deep history there as well. Pastor Chris chose these sites in order to delve into the importance they have to Christians across the globe and to emphasize the importance of a constant remembrance of each one within daily life. Sites such as the Tomb of Lazarus of Bethany holds great importance in the lives of Christians, as it is the exact place where Jesus performed the great miracle of bringing back Lazarus from the dead. Emmaus, mentioned in Luke, where Jesus appeared to two of his disciples after his death and resurrection, is also on the itinerary. These historic sites will be graced with Pastor Chris’s presence, along hundreds of his followers.
The ultimate purpose of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s pilgrimage is to create a spiritual journey for hundreds of followers, as well as for the Christians and Jews of the Holy Land. The people of Israel will be granted the opportunity to hear firsthand, from the Man of God himself, a deep analysis of the miracles of Jesus Christ and the biblical significance the country still holds today. JJ Hairston Wins Big with 6 Stellar Gospel Music Awards

J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise are the talk of the gospel music industry as they walked away with six of their nine Stellar Award nominations during this past weekend’s 33rd Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Las Vegas. Hairston and his troop won more awards than any of this year’s nominees. They struck gold in these categories: CD of the Year, Choir of the Year, Urban/Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year, Contemporary Choir of the Year, Praise & Worship CD of the Year. They also won the coveted, Song of the Year statuette for the radio smash, “You Deserve It,” which spent 21 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Digital Song sales chart. The song and the similarly titled album is the first project on Hairston’s new imprint, JamesTown Music.

“I am truly overwhelmed,” says Hairston. “I want to thank every well wisher, mentor, and everyone who has expressed their support, thank you. This is just the beginning. To God be the glory!”

Topping off this experience, Hairston performed his new single, “No Reason To Fear,” as the Stellar Gospel Music Awards’ finale. The song is currently No. 8 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart. The performance featured some of gospel’s heavy hitters such as Deitrick Haddon, Todd Dulaney, Ricky Dillard, Canton Jones, LeAndria Johnson, and Donald Lawrence. The rousing performance culminated with the announcement that Hairston and his fellow performers would be co-headlining the 2018 McDonald’s Inspiration Gospel Tour that is scheduled to begin May 12th in Newark, NJ and will hit 13 major markets across the country. ASCAP also honored Hairston this weekend for his Stellar Award achievements. The show airs Friday, March 30 at 9 PM ET on the TVOne cable television network with a repeat broadcast of the star-studded program at 11 PM ET.

Multi-platinum selling artists MercyMe and TobyMac have garnered the most nominations for this year’s K-LOVE Fan Awards including four nods total in the major categories of Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Group or Duo of the Year, Song of the Year and Film Impact. Casting Crowns, Cory Asbury and Zach Williams each received three nominations spanning categories such as Group or Duo of the Year, Breakout Single of the Year, Worship Song of the Year and more.

Henry Shield, a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has said he will petition the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor E.A Adeboye, for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to be removed as a pastor in the church.

I have been a member of @rccghq for close to 20yrs so I will call out @ProfOsinbajo for the embarasment he has become to the Body of Christ. Watching as Christians get killed daily. If it hurts you, tell him to resign as a pastor so I can face him as the politician he has become.
So, I will officially be sending in a petition to the Daddy G.O. of the @rccghq about Pastor @ProfOsinbajo and getting signatures from around the world on the need for the Church to de-robe him as a Pastor so he doesn’t further ridicule the Church.
The ONLY reason @ProfOsinbajo is VP today is because he’s a Christian. Tinubu could as well have taken the slot if there wasn’t need for it to be a Muslim/Christian ticket so, as far as he remains in asorock on that ticket, he must speak and defend the Faith. It’s non-negotiable.
In 2015, the APC used @ProfOsinbajo to secure many Christian votes. After that, he was abandoned in the Villa to read papers. It’s another election year and they’ve released him to start going about again BUT WE WON’T LET HIM UNTIL HE SPEAKS AGAINST THE KILLING OF CHRISTIANS.
