Minister Oche Progress Has This To Say About Gospel & Secular Artistes @Ocheprogress

The class i belong is a unique class no room for comparison.

That a gospel musician will be comparing himself or herself with a secular artist is what i don't understand. Are we in thesame CATEGORY? The answer in No! For me singing for Jesus is a profitable singing and i have no regret doing that.

The popularity of a secular artist should never grow to an enviable height in the sight of a gospel musician who is called into the ministry. You may not be under their performance at the night club on a Friday night but he or she may be under your ministration in the church on a Sunday or do you think they don't go to church? Some of them believe in God even more than you do and we know where some of them worship. But do you think if Wizkid or Davido comes to worship in your church he will be handed the microphone for praise/worship because he's a "popular artist"? He must be seated amongst the congregation and sing along as you worship God. The question now is, will you allow God minister to him through your ministration? Will you make him enjoy worshiping God in the sanctuary more than "catching the fun" at night clubs?

Tarry in the place of prayer for an inspiration God is able to give you a song that will be the favorite song of the best secular artist. Life is not a competition and we are not in thesame class.@ocheprogress
