ARTICLE: THE GLORY OF THE LORD AS RISEN UPON YOU ARISE AND SHINE, FOR THY LIGHT HAS COME

》{Matthew 5:14-16} Says,

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven."

》Friends... Some years ago, I was once in a science class or rather a science student, before I decided to swap from science to art in 2013... But during my days in science class or as a science student my teacher actually conducted a practical or rather an illustration to demonstrate the POWER of LIGHT and Darkness!

》As he described various frustrations, hurts and hardships people experience in different parts of the world, he instructed for the lights throughout the class to be turned off, one by one, closed all windows until there was complete and utter darkness in the room - Just pitch black darkness... For several minutes, He loudly spoke about the pain of discouragement, depression, confusion, and despair... He acknowledged those emotions, their reality and their scars... He candidly spoke about the evil in the world at large... There was no belittling or sentiment, just the raw admission that none of us are exempt from the reach of darkness in this world..!!!

》But then, he posed a question: as fearsome as darkness is, do we truly understand the POWER of LIGHT???... And he lit a single candle... And it was hard to even put into words the powerful illumination that came from one single flame in the middle of the class room; The glow was cast far and wide... Truth was poignantly demonstrated: the blackest darkness is no match for even the smallest light... {TO BE CONTINUED}.
